Radiator Fan Temp Guage replacement

Hey guys,

I want to replace my stock fan sensor in my 84 Trans Am (the one that tells the radiator fan to turn on and off) with one that starts at a little lower temperature. The problem is, not sure where this sensor is. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Is it coming out between the number 1 and 3 cylinders?

The sensor between 1 & 3 cylinder is for the temp guage. The sensor you are talking about is between cylinders 6 & 8. Their should be a green wire coming out of it. If you ground the wire while it is still connected to sensor w/ignition on the rad fan should engage.
