headlight & signal lights not working

for about a week now, whenever my headlights pop up, it blows the fuse. i disconnected my headlights and i turn them manually now. my bf thinks its the module but he isnt sure where it is or how to test it because sometimes 1 light will work and sometimes the other light will work. i know the headlight motors work, so it cant be that.

-------

now my signal lights arent working either. the light on the dash isnt flashing or ticking. we changed the flasher and it isnt that. has anyone else had this problem?

if anyone can help with either item, please write back...if you need more information let me know.

The relay module is on the firewall, like, the 4th box over.

2 connections, 1 w/4 wires, 1 w/5 wires. It's about 5" square.

I just got through fighting mine, but it turned out to be a previous owner's hack job, from a car alarm he removed.

Well, I had a situation a while back. Every time I hit the headlight switch the fuse would pop.
Turns out one of the wires on the motor harness had found a ground.

Maybe you have a wire finding a ground.
