brake lights

i am having trouble with my brake lights on my 82 TA. yesterday the brake lights didn't work at all. I jiggled the harness a little bit and got them to work. now only the left side brake lights work, all the tail lights work, the parking and headlights work. but the turn signals don't work if the parking lights are on as well. any ideas other than replacing the whole freaking assembly.
please someone help.

hey there sounds like you need to check the rear lights wiring harness connectors, they may be wet/dirty, need to pull them apart and clean and dry them

thats what it sounds like is wrong with this one

otherwise the only problem could be with the headlamp switch and possibly brake light switch
