Hey,
I just got an alarm/immobilizer fitted today that i'm pretty happy with.
Mine has the following features that might suit you too: dual stage shock sensor (with adjustable sensitivity), glass breakage sensor, allpoints of entry alarms, 3 point immoboliser (fuel pump, ignition, and prom i think), auto rearm, keyless entry, battery backup, and flashing led light. You can get other that sense body heat in the car and stuff too.
I'm in Australia, so you might not be able to get the brand i used (Rhino).
Good luck with it!

I went with the AutoPage, p/n RF-420LCD. it can do much as you want or as little. It all depends on which add-ons you want to buy.

I went with the "RA". The two piece alarm / immoboliser unit.
BTW, can you park your car elsewhere? You probably can't (obvious solution), but just out of interest, does it get broken into at work or home, etc?

I have a Clifford system. Base package includes just about everything (2 stage shock, vehicle immobilizer, 2 stage proximity sensor, door lock/unlock, and hatch release). It also has a pretty wicked anti-car jacking feature. You can opt up for remote start and window control.

Base package was $400 installed
