Re: What do these plug into?

These may not be as good as a Helms manual however they may help. I checked this site out-http://www.autozone.com/az/cds/en_us/0900823d/80/16/3f/b5/0900823d80163fb5/repairInfoPages.htm The bottom pictures appears to be the ac power steering cutout switch.
The top one I can't tell. Maybe if someone can scan a page from a Helms manual you can identify them by the colors and pin location trace end to end you know.

The second plug appears to be the Fog light harness to headlight harness connector.

What I believe the thought behind the power steering cutout switch was to conserve engine power when power steering demands were high, like lock position. It appears the switch is only in a vin H car 305-160 hp-yours? If you dont have AC then it's no issue, even if you did and the switch didn't work it wouldn't hurt the engine just pull the motor down more than the engineers thought it should I.E. drivability because the AC couldn't turn off momentarily. If you have AC and the switch is locked open then your ac clutch wouldn't work and you wouldn't have AC. That would be the only downside as I see it. There are three AC switches shown on the diagram in series, high, low, and power steering. These switches internals are known as a contact. In an electrical schematic all contacts are shown in their de-energized normal state. In this case normal state is AC off, contacts open-not toggled to ground. You turn the air on, the switches close creating a path to ground for the AC clutch and thus your AC cycles as it should. Should one of the switches toggle open then the AC clutch disengages. The diagram I noticed combined a couple other engine models so it does get a bit more complicated. Just stick with your vin number, trace wires out on you car as you compare it to the diagram and ignore the rest.

I could not find the other switch in your first picture, what color are the wires?

If everything works on your car correctly this may just be a pigtail remnant that didn't get used on your vin model due to options it was chosen to have. I know it causes concern though initially. I have one behind my bellhousing on my 350 that serves no purpose.

The green one is used for diagnostics/ tune-up's. Connect it to a dwell meter to verify correct mixture operation. Adjust the carb. idle mixture screws to a 30 degrees dwell reading.

Re: What do these plug into?

The fog lights interact with the headlights 'in that' the fogs should only work when the Park or headlights are ON and should not work when the high beams ON. That's what this plug on the headlight harness is for.

Splicing your aftermarket system into the cars wiring is up to you. Some people want the fogs without any other lights at all and some want the fogs to work when the High Beams are ON. How you splice it will depend on what you want and the aftermarket system your installing.
