Tried to start up the car not too long ago and the battery was dead. I didnt care cause it sat for like 5 months through winter and more. Tried to charge it up and it wouldnt take a charge. Went out got a new battery, everything was good and running. Turned the car off, went behind the car and saw the running lights were on. I went up front to see if the headlights were still on and they werent. Headlight switch is all the way off, didnt really look into the problem more just unhooked the battery. I didnt have this problem before, why did it just come up? Any idea on where the best place to start looking is?

 

sounds like a faulty head light switch. Check and make sure at the connector that the switch is turning every thing off.
