Which keyless entry?

Hi,
I am planning to add a keyless entry to my car.
If I buy a kit like:
http://www.customstreetdesigns.com/2202-KE-30.htm
will I have to add relays if I want a light and horn confirmation.
Anything else to think before to buy?
Thanks

You can wire the entry system to the headlight and horn relays presently in the car.

How bout those dorks too scared to drive without headlights or in the daytime!

Re: Which keyless entry?

I honestly wouldn't go with that kit. I had the BOA keyless entry remote start kit which was ok. I then bought a kit off ebay that was a bit better. It had light confirmation and horn confirmation aswell. I was much happier. As far as relays, it will depend what kit you get. I believe our door locks are positively charged IIRC...meaning you need to add (+) to lock/unlock. If a kit is only (-) you need a relay to convert the - to + . I also like the remote start for the cold winter. It also has a trunk open (if you have an electic trunk button)...
