Ignition problem
My 84 ta wont stay running. It will start occasionally and then the tach bounces and it dies. Then it wont start for a couple days and then it will fire up the first time, run for about five minutes , and thendie.Ive replaced the distributor, coil, and hei module but nothing works. Any ideas would be appreciated.

are you getting spark to the pluggs? if not try replacing the reluctor ring. 8 pointed ring in the bottom of the distributor, you have to take the distributor apart. had that problem on a '69 Camaro years ago. change the condensor in the dist' it is on the wiring harness inside the dist' awating your answer
