I have a 1983 Camaro. I'm trying to get it to pass emissions and safety. The problem I'm having is the Headlights will work but only when i turn the brights on. The dims will not come on by themselves. All the bulbs are fine and work great. I'm thinking that it must be the dimmer switch. Anybody know any other possibilities? Also if it is the dimmer switch where is it located? I have a wiring diagram and i know that the yellow wire connects directly to it but i thought i would ask first so that i could save some time hunting for it.
