Voltage Drop

I'm having problems with voltage drop in my 89 camaro 305TPI. When sitting at a stop light it will drop, you will hear RPM drop and than it will come back up. I can also hear it load down when I turn on the rear defrost. Also acts up sometimes with my foot on the brake at a stop light. I have a new alternator but that didnt help my problem at all. Anyone with ideas would be greatly appreciated. Also I'm not sure if its relevent to this problem or not but I'm getting ignition noise through my radio. It gets louder as RPM increases.

Thanks
James

Voltage Drop? Pick It Up!

That isn’t a problem if the voltage goes up to normal once you hit the loud pedal.

Ignition noise:
Make sure you are using resistor plugs and wires.

Happy Racing!

If People Drove Any Slower They’d Be Going Backwards

Fog lights are not driving lights. They look dorky. Turn em off slow pokes.

How bout those dorks too scared to drive without headlights on in the daytime!

Check for bad/disconnected ground wires.

Re: Voltage Drop? Pick It Up!

Found the problem, All stemmed from a loose positive cable on the battery
