Start Button

Has anyone looked into or wired in a start button like the newer cars, still have the key but just use it to power the electronics and push the start button for engine start. Just a thought.

Re: Start Button

Its been done a few times on here. But honestly, if you have to put the key in and turn it anyway to enable the button, is it that much harder to turn the key a little more? Most of the new push button cars have rf/if transmitters in the keys so you dont even need to pull the key out of your pocket for the button to work.

Re: Start Button

You can get a RFID kit through Radio Shack and then go from there.
