NOW what happened?
Ok a few weeks ago my interior light mysteriously went out, i though it was strange because not to long ago i replaced the bulb, but i had an extra and replaced it but it do anything so now that doesnt work. then i noticed one day my power mirrors didnt work, i belive it was after having the interior light crap. now today i noticed my power locks dont work either. And this is on both doors. What is up? Im guessing all these things took a crap at one. It seems all my other electronic stuff works but its just the locks/mirrors/interior dont. What happened!?

Re: NOW what happened?
You will probably also find out that your horn and third brake light and lighter don't work. These are all on the same fuse as all the other stuff. Same thing happened to me . I found the blown fuse, but every time I put in a new one it blew immediately. Turns out the lighters like to short out sometimes. If your fuse blows when replaced, disconnect the lighter from behind and then try putting in a new one. If all is OK, replace lighter or leave unplugged. Good luck

Re: NOW what happened?
I can point it out on my car, but yours is different. Do a search on here, I know I've seen yours shown somewhere. Otherwise, just take out fuses one at a time until you find the bad one. Not sure if it will solve your problem, but it worked for me. Happy hunting

Re: NOW what happened?
Your fuse should be a yellow 20amp, might say curtousy or radio. The fuse should be a clear yellow, in the center it is a S shape, if it's blown it will have a break in the middle. Like another post said, the cig lighter is the most common culprit. Disconnect from the back of the lighter and tape the wire end with electrical tape. To try to find a nice working lighter is damn near imposible. Good luck.

Re: NOW what happened?
Well V or S doesn't matter as long as they aren't burnt in two in the middle. Thats just the difference between two fuse manufacture's. The fuse's are color coded for the amps they can handle.

Re: NOW what happened?
There is a thin fillement in the bottom of the lighter socket that falls apart after time and shorts out the fuse. Take the socket screws off of the frame and pull out the lighter assembly and disconnect the power wire in the back. Trying to find a good working lighter socket is damn near imposible.

Re: NOW what happened?
There should be enough slack to pull out the socket. There is a plastic clip on the wire that will unsnap from behind the lighter socket.

Your not stupid, it's always easier for someone that's done it before. You'll get it.

Re: NOW what happened?
Hi again. You unscrew the four screws and pull out the panel with the orange and black wires attached to the clip on the back of the lighter. Pull back the plastic ears on both sides of the clip and it will pull free. You can just leave it unplugged, but the clip that was on the back of the lighter cannot be allowed to touch anything because the orange wire is hot with the key on. If you have found the fuse with the center part broken(melted apart) you can now replace it and your dome light should go on if this was really the problem. I've got several good lighters if you need one, that is, if this whole process succeeds. I only figured out this stuff by doing "research" at the JY and taking their cars apart. Seemed like a good idea?

Re: NOW what happened?
The problem is not in the part that comes out. The part that goes bad is the piece it slides into. That has to be disconnected . If this fixes it and you don't replace the lighter it will never happen again . If you do replace it it could possibly happen someday, but fixing it would now be simple.
