Here's diags for almost all 3rd gens - you can trace wire colors from the diags and rewire the basics you need from there.

Do you have at least the majors? Like battery cables, alternator, etc.? What about lights, electric rad fan, etc. It would help to know what you currently have wired, and what's working and what's not specifically.

it has bassically the whole passanger side of wiring
but i thought they was useless since im going carb
lgihts and all that is there
battery + is there but i dont think it is hooked up anywhere cuz i put a new ground on the frame to install my battery and i turned the key and got nothing
i dont have a eletric fan atm
im gonna order a fan off of summit payday next week
so i guess what i am needing is how to wire up my + side of my battery , my alt , starter , i just want to get it started for now and than i can worry about my gauges after

Re: 1992 wiring issue

Wow - the PO really did a number on the wiring then - you are right, the pass side wiring is not needed, but the driver side is. Why so many idiot want to hack up wiring is beyond me - never cut the wires out, just tuck aside what you don't need!

If it were me, assuming you still have the bulkhead connector on the firewall under the brake booster, I'd go to a JY and get the driver side wiring harness of any 3rd gen I could find, and plug it up, rather than trying to rewire everything from scratch.

Good luck!
