Flasher problem

Flasher problem

The flashers in my car stoped working last night. the front orange lights still light up but they dont flash at all. i replaced the blown fuse and tryed and they blinked for a few seconds and it shorted it self out and blew the fuse. its on a 1991 305 camaro help?

first thing i'd try is replacing the flasher relay and fuse. make sure the flasher hasn't dropped out of the bracket and is grounding the terminals against something. do ur hazzards work? they are on a seperate flasher. if they work then it is probably something with turn signal flasher.
