Jacobs energy pak and coil wiring....?
So i need some info from some old school guys on this I cant find any info on this setup, when we bought my friends SSA firebird this setup was sitting in the back seat, car has been sold so i figured i should test it and if it works throw it on my car, maybe smooth out my idle issues a bit
Problem is there is NO tech support for these products, if i remember right they were bought out, i tried contacting them via email on what looked like an australian website but never got a replay back, ive got a red wire(12v), a black (ground) a green(???) and then a tan and black tied together in heatshrink, im assuming the tan and black are the positive and negative for the coil, what would the green be? i also see a jumper on the back that lists trouble codes, ext alarm trigger, antitheft deactivate, tune up, max power, rpm limit and ground, the jumper is sitting on antitheft deactivate currently. Im GUESSING that by moving the jumper from whatever to ground selects that feature right?
any info on this would be great especially if i can bench test it
TIA!

We Have Ignition
The thicker black wire is for a full throttle switch.
The green wire is connected to the electronic ignition amplifier output.
Do a scraping on what looks like a tan wire to make sure it isn’t a White wire.
The White wire and the black wire running together are for the coil, black wire ground side, White wire positive side.
The two jumpers near the orange wire and purple wire which are to select number of cylinders the engine is.
Due to the fact you have eight you will not be cutting those jumpers.
