Can you identify these wires?

I bought a 89 rs camaro that has some rigged up wiring to say the least. It has a carb'd 350 with t-5 transmission and still has the electric in tank pump. I'm trying to get rid of some wiring that isn't needed. I've read that you can delete most of the wiring on the passenger side of the car when you go carb'd. I have 4 14 guage wires and what looks to be 1 12 guage wire all going to the positive battery terminal. I have attached pics and was wondering if someone could tell me what they go to?

Thanks for any help!

To be honest I wouldnt just start cutting all the power wires out. I cant remember what they all do but the easiest way to see what they do would be to disconnect 1 at a time and find out what they do. Personally I did what you wanted to do and it backfired huge on me and I ended up with a new harness because of it. Just my 2 cents tho.

Re: Can you identify these wires?

As one who has done this. I have to say you are approaching it backwards. To remove the right side harness start with the bundle that goes down behind the wheel well by the fire wall and work your way out from there. That way you are working from the known wires to be removed out to their ends around the engine. When I removed mine I believe I only cut one brown wire near the distributor that ran into the other harness from the drivers side. Every thing else I traced from the passenger side to its end. Good luck.

Reds are always main power feeds to something , as noted disconnect them one at a time to see what stops working.
The big red is probably the alternator
The removable wires for the redundant EFI are almost always not red
