Msd digital 6 plus.
I just bought a MSD digital 6 plus. I have a few questions if someone can give me some advice.
I am getting a pn8876 adapter for the 2 clip coil to the msd. Its way to short and I would think that mounting that puppy under the hood can be no good. So im going to extent the harness but want it in case i need to unhook the 6 plus and still drive the car. But my main question is I have a 1991 Camaro and read that I may need a tach filter. Any advice on that while im ordering the wire adapter.
Another question. I have a turboed car and want to use the 2 step as a anti lag device on the starting line. What is the best way for accuracy to wire up the 12vdc control for the msd. Brake peddle, momentary switch of some sort, or pressure switch off the brake. This is a street strip car that I plan to run a seperate switch off the 2 step anyways so that if I need to be on the brakes and do a burn out or play on the streets the 2 step doesn't kick in. Thanks for any help fellas.

Re: Msd digital 6 plus.
I install one last year in a 91 Camaro and the stock tach worked just fine with no filter, can't help you with the two step, also note no msd's are potted anymore, so don't mount under the hood unless you know it not going to wet.
