Help fix my rear defroster!

Does anyone know how to fix specific lines of the rear hatch defroster? Its annoying when only like 4 lines work then it skips 3 broken ones and then another 2 work. Also, any way to keep it on longer? I hate having to press it over and over again while driving.

Thanks in advance!

I fixed mine with a conductive ink pen. Get your car in a dark garage, turn on defroster, and look for little sparks where the breaks are. Then dab on some ink.

Yep, got all but a couple of lines working that way. I fixed the big breaks I could spot easily by eye first, then did this for the rest. Generally the breaks were down the sides of the hatch, where the individual lines join the main supply tracks.
