Need picture of trunk pull down wiring

Does anyone have a picture of their trunk wiring showing the mounted trunk pulldown and relay's with the colored wires plugged in? My 89 convert had a trunk full of mice and the wiring is a mess, shorted, burned, chewed. I need to see how the wires are routed and what colors go where. Thanks Brian

Brian,

This is pull down (hatch) and release wiring for my 1991 firebird formula 305TBI. Yours may be different, but they may be the same.

Check the blue wire connected to red/white wire to see if you have twelve volts. Ground is to body. If 12v and ground is good, then you probably have an electrical issue with the hatch motor assembly. Fuse is not in the fuse box but is near the box and taped to the wiring harness. Should be able to see it dangling. Wires are in loom which is inside the metal clips that bend easily and are glued to the chassis. Blk wire has a 7mm self-tapping screw holding it to the body-this is near the hatch assembly. Red/wht wire goes to the blue on the assembly and white to the other-can't remember color. PM m e if you need anything else.
