Yup,.....
No nightmares of wierd / strange problems to oversome; Carb-to-carb is a pretty "simple' swap.
If the car is a V6 than the fuel lines will need to be moved/run from the drivers side to the passengers side and you will need to gather a bunch of V8 accessories to complete the motor swap. ( V8 Radiator, Motor mounts, tranny, ect... ) If the car is already a V8 than just about all the accessories you have installed will work fine.
All the important wires you need are in the harness on the drivers side of the engine bay,...... so don't alter that harness. The wiring harness that leads from the ECM (under pass side of the dash) enters the engine bay on the pass side thru the pass fender. If your 'new' engine is a non-computer controlled engine, (no ECM) than this entire harness can be removed along with the ECM. (check local laws) Removing the ECM means the tranny will no longer have TCC lock-up so you should consider buying an aftermarket TCC lock-up kit or creating your own so that you can retian the lock-up function.
Good luck with your swap !

Re: HELP
the problem with the 400 is if you want to keep the dash speedo working, very few 400's came with an electronic speed output, i changed to the 400 and just use a gps.
