mass air flow sensor

hey everyone ,man i have a very big problem here and came to the best place to get help . well lets get started i have a 1986 chevy camaro (berlinetta),last summer i started haveing problems with the mass air flow sensor it set a hard code in the computer so i went to advance auto and got a new one and they reset the computer took off down the road about a 2 miles the light comes back on again went back the chacked it again guess what,mass air flow sensor tried it 3 more times still same thing so got my money back went to dealership ,got new sensor from them and they cleared the code drove down the road 6miles light comes back on again guess what rt,mass air flow sensor so i kept that new sensor went to napa auto parts and got a new computer hopeing that would take care of the problem but it did not fix it ,so to me it has to be in the wiring but i dont know where to start ,and thats where i need everybodies help

You'll have to ID the error code and them follow the diagnostic flowcharts in the service manual for that code to find out what is setting it.

Have you checked that the wiring and plug are OK ??

wiring and plug looks ok ,it was setting a hard code of 33and what the manual said under that code mass air flow sensor and running to lean
