hawks hid kit

I am considering buying the hawks h.i.d kit and was wondering does it come with 4 lights, 2 high beam and 2 low beams or does it come with 2 light and the high beam and low beam are both in the same housing? has anyone had any problems with it?

Re: hawks hid kit

For $130 I would have to say they only convert the low beams.

I don't think you'll see many high beams converted to HID because it take a few moments for HID to come to full brightness (my LS400 runs HID lows/halogen high beams from the factory). When you want high beams you want it now.

You might also want to reconsider the 10,000k (blue) color temperature. It might look cool (no pun intended) but I think a color temp nearer to 5000k (white) would through much more light onto the road.
