Ok another indicator issue

84 Z28 ok here goes ,
the right indicator stays on
when the indicator is in use it now blinks real fast and dim then flashing and slow and strong then mixes all this up
the right does this
so does the left
when the hazards are on they blink side to side on inside due to the right indicator being on and all work ok on out side
also the volts have dropped the bottom and and the rev counter is on full and twitches when the indicators are on .
any help here would be awesome ,
like where to start to fix this

The problem is consistent with a bad ground.

The
black ground wires come out of the dash connectors and go to the ‘Convenience Center’ bracket.

The Convenience Center is located behind the knee bolster.

The Convenience Center contains a the Hazard flasher among other parts
(just to help you identify it),
and is to the right of the steering column.

The bottom line is you have a bad connection from the indicator lamp sockets to ground, or indicator sockets to the signal side.

You might have a cracked circuit board trace (difficult to see).

You might have a loose or dirty contact on the connector(s) for that circuit.

Happy Racing !
