Engine: LG4: ENGINE, GAS, 8 CYL, 5.0L, 4BBL
Transmission: MD8: 4 SPEED AUTO THM700R4
Axle/Gears: GU2: AXLE, REAR 2.73 RATIO
Alarm System
1987 Z28 convertible. Looking to install alarm/security system. Don't need remote start, don't need power windows to lock. don't need starter disable. would like motion/shock sensor and loud horn, also would be nice to get a page
or text if activated. gps tracking would be nice but can add this later. I have
seen some that can tell if a tool/object is carried inside the car.
Any suggestions??

For fancy stuff like getting a text you should visit your local car alarm store.
A most effective way to foil a loser that tries to take your car (yes get an alarm that sounds the horn) is a device that shuts the engine after 30 seconds or so.
Then the loseer is stranded, the loser will abandon the car in traffic or the side of the road and will run away like the loser he is.
