Battery Fuse Location

Hey everyone, wondering where the main fuse is in my 1989 Camaro Iroc-Z 5.7L. Pretty sure it blew. No power to the car but my battery is reading 13v. Thanks in advanced

Re: Battery Fuse Location

Fuses are underneath by your left knee area.

There is no single "main fuse" that will kill every electrical device in the car . there are a few "fusable links" that control subgroups of components like the headlights , engine controls , and so on .

If nothing whatsoever has power then you have a bad connection at either battery terminal or at the starter (positive) or block/body ground . That or a bad (corroded clean through) battery wire would be my best guesses as to things that would kill all power in all circuits while the battery still shows voltage .

Re: Battery Fuse Location

Fusible links near the starter motor are a point of failure.
