No heat, no A/C, NOTHING!!
No heat, no A/C, NOTHING!!
I need some help guys and gals. NONE of my "air controls" are working right now, from the A/C to the heater to the vents to the windshield defogger. Whenever I select one of them with the slider, I can hear a click from the engine bay, so I know somethings getting power, its just that whenever I make a selection on which fan level to use, nothing ever happens. Please help me guys, I'm tired of packing a towel and driving with the windows opened just so I can see the road!!!

Sounds like your blower is not working. Check the plug under the hood with a multimeter to see if you are getting power to the blower, if you are then you need to replace the blower.

The blower is on the passenger side firewall, right beside the "box" for the a/c evaporator core. There is only one wire, and it is fairly fat, should be easy to find.
Well, I haven't had time to check any wires yet, but tonite, I was driving around, so I checked and tried to turn on the heater. Much to my suprise, when it is on high, some hot air actually comes out of the heater vents. Not as much as it should be, but nevertheless, its something. Any new suggestions?

It still sounds like you blower motor is bad, check it any way. If it is bad they are not that expensive and most parts stores should stock them.
dude- I know your troubles. I have been driving around with no fan for over a year now because I can not seem to figure out what is wrong. My car does the same thing. when ever I get up to speed 50+ some air does blow out. I have have replaced almost everything (blower motor, relay, switch) and still no go. So far I have spent almost $100 on it. Don't do what I did and just start replacing everything, find out with some tests and just replace the things you need to. If I ever get mine fixed I will be sure to tell you. Good luck.

I agree, just replacing parts is not good diagnosing. It is better to buy a mulimeter that you can use to test with, than to buy a part you did not need.
