I'm completely stumped here. I've played with the wires a lot and ended up on this
the red wire is power from source, green wire only goes to the window from the switch and brown is ground. This is for the passenger side window and it is an aftermarket kit that isn't to factory colors so keep that in mind. With this setup the window doesn't move and the motor doesn't even sound like it's moving. When I click the side of the switch that red goes to it sounds like something activates and is whirring from the engine bay. If anyone has any sort if help to how to wire the switch or what may cause the windows to not work anything is appreciated.
The wires are connected to power from the fuse box at a 30 amp circuit breaker that from the original wiring harness is where I'm supposed to be connecting to.
When I try to wire it to that, none of the colors are the same. I tried wiring it to that exact diagram but I originally couldn't tell if it was a wiring problem or something elsewhere but when I tested the wires today it seems as though the passenger switch was wired correctly but when I hit the switch nothing happened and actually started to burn up the switch so I changed to a spare switch.
As I said today I decided to test the passenger side switch and I seemed like evwry connector got power that needed to have power, and with no buttons being pressed to motor had proper voltage. When I pressed the switch nothing happens, could this be a problem with switch having to much resistance or a bad ground maybe.
But the drivers side switch, that confuses me. On my kit it has 6 available connections, 2 in the middle and 2 on either side of the switch. On my kit, it's a red power wire that goes from power to the passenger switch and drivers switch but also goes to the passenger door, then the drivers side had a blue w/ red tracer wire going to the motor along with the black wire that also goes to motor (I have no clue why black is power and not ground, for mine brown is ground). How am I supposed to wire power to both sides of the switch if power goes to the middle of the switch and not the up or down side. Also when I checked the drivers side switch for power at each prong only 1 other had power which is also likely an issue but the other issue is more important to me.
Sorry for the long response this is all stuff I found out today, for a better understanding I'll take a picture tomorrow of my different diagram and switches.
