Blown Guage-Fuse

Today, all my instruments refused to work anymore. I figuered out that it was a blown fuse. The new one died immediately. I checked all wires, switches and connectors and found out, the problem comes from the TCC-Release-Switch at the brake-pedal. Now I removed that switch, but whats the reason ? - Could it be a shortened TCC-Solenoid ???

I had the same exact problem in my T/A! I never figured out why--I just left the switch off. Probably just a switch that went bad--my car runs great--no tcc problems.

It's for the torque convertor to lock up--for overdrive.
