fully ported 113 heads w/ 2.00 & 1.56 light weight valves forsale

This is the set of heads off my 383 that ran 11.7 @118 with a small comp cam 224 230 .550 lift. Made 380 rwhp back when it was a stock ported and siamesed lower and slp runners never put it back on the dyno with the hsr on it. They have comp cams springs on them that are 130 on the set and 380 open. Cant remember the exact hight numbers for those numbers. They are good to 620 lift but would keep it under 600 to be safe. Heads probably work best with less lift anyway. Titanium retainers and 10 degree locks that came stock on afr 190 lt1 heads so really good stuff. I changed them to run a huge solid roller on the afrs on my lt1 so used them on this set. The valves are from a set of fast burn heads that we changed over to 2.02 1.60 stainless valves at a customers request(dont know why but did it) and they were bran new when I installed them. To try to actually purchase them is ridiculous from gm, like 18 bucks a valve. They are way lighter than stainless steel and just as strong. I have turned the motor 6400 with the hsr on it with no problems. I did a freshen up on them about 10k ago(new valves, springs, seals, 5 angle valve job) I am having the seats freshened up just to make sure they seal up fine. The port job was what the shop I worked at charged 800 to do. It is a full port job. Bowls are huge and blended all the way up the runners. Matched up to a 1205 felpro gasket and perfect for my early model hsr. Chambers have been reshaped to more of a heart shapeand valves unshrouded. Heads were cut .030 to bring chambers back down in cc's after the reshape. All bolt holes and intakes will still line up fine after the shave. Arp 3/8 studs no guide plates on them but might have a set if needed. I would say it would take 1500+ to build a set of heads like these and you can buy afrs for that much so what would be the point. I would say that there is better parts and these heads would flow as well if not better than the patriot or other cheap heads that are now available. Just the light weight valves and titanium retainers are worth close to 500 rpms and alot less stress on the valve train. This is why racers use titanium valves in all out drag stuff looking for every ounce of power to be found. I am working on pics now as I just got them off the car a few days ago. The only reason I am replacing them is because I needed to lower my compression on my 383 to run a turbo and had to go to a 75cc chamber to get the 9.2 I was looking for. If I could have changed pistons cheaper I would have rather than the heads. These would have been great for what I am doing but I have 600+ in my pistons and then 300 in balancing the rotating assembly and the fact of tearing it all back down just wasnt going to do it when I can just change the heads and get the same thing. I would like to see 800 out of them but am up for offers. they are proven in my car so no guessing if they can make good power like with some heads in that price range. I will have pics ready by tonight so email if interested. Any other questions please ask.I have tried to cover everything about them but I am sure there will be some.

damn, a bone stock set with many miles just sold for 400 bucks. That makes these a smokin deal for all the work.pics up soon.here are some pics after I shot them with some brake clean. I had a cheap set of intake gaskets and it had leaked pretty bad with my old stock intake and got everything oily look at the back of the valves and see that the seals dont leak a drop. they also have bronze liners in the guides. These heads are like new as far as run time on them since the freshen up. dont look the greatest due to the intake leak but will when after I finish cleaning them. As you can see this is not a hack home port job and was done by brent fraizer racing engines in jax Fl. He did all the work on Johnny Gullets 8 sec pro 5.0 mustang and knows how to get as much out of a set of heads as you can get with out killing velocity.Taking offers but dont **** me off and make yourself look stupid with something redicilous. When I get them all cleaned up I will put up a few more pics

taking offers. these are super nice and will make 400 rwhp with the right combo around them. Spin up fast with around 500 more rpm even on a tpi setup. Bang for the buck is a great deal. I hate to go ebay but need them sold to buy a turbo. Or trade for a turbo in the 76mm range or partial trade if turbo is super nice I will pay up some cash. Cant believe I havent had one offer for heads this nice. When I was looking I would have been all over something this trick. Better velocity than fast burns for way more torque. Very fresh heads.

will also throw in a custom program(I do them) for your combo to go with the heads. I will provide the chip and tune it until perfect for what you run with these heads.

How much you asking, and how well would those bad boys work on a '91 305 TPI? I'm gonna put a 2,400 B&M stall on it, 3.73's, TransGo shift kit, and Jet Hot coated Hedman Tork-Step shorty headers on it. XFI cam later on, hopefully?

Re: fully ported 113 heads w/ 2.00 & 1.56 light weight valves forsale

I would say that using them on the 305would be like putting 220 afrs on a 400 inch motor. If you do a search with 305 head on google you will find a hot rod listing where they dynoed a 305 with vortec heads(mine are a little better) and cam combo that made almost 400 hp at 6200 rpm. These on that little motor would be really trick. I have a lt1 cam that would be great for it and would throw it in with a custom tune for your car too.A complete package ready to go for 800 bucks that should make better than 300 rwhp and more with a bigger cam down the road. THe 305 small bore makes it limited to valve size and the ones I have would be as big as you can go. A regular 350 head with 202 160 might hit the inside with a lot of lift. So as far as a performance upgrade on the 305 this would be nasty. And combustion chambers are about hte same so compression would be good.plus you loose about 40 lbs off the car too. would be the way to go for the 305 and good power.

Re: fully ported 113 heads w/ 2.00 & 1.56 light weight valves forsale

dont offer what a stock set sells for I am not giving them away. See them sell for 800 on ebay for fresh stock ones. I am trying to help someone here in school or an a budget get a set of proven heads for a great price before I give them up to a old man on ebay for his hot rod as I will get 800 all day there for them but know what it is like to have to pinch and scrape to get money together. I have over 1400 in them but know I will never get it and did it to them as I got the money in stages and it cost me more but worked out very well as the car is very fast.
