Re: lakewood control arms and tubular adjustable panhard bar
I guess someone else can take a chance with this guy since he feels my request for actual pictures is asking to much. he says he will have to jack up the car to take pictures of which I wouldn't be able to see anyway but what doesn't make sense to me is he is going to have to take them off to ship them, why not do it and snap some pictures and then send them to me. he only wants money order (no paypal) so no of getting your money back if you do not get the item but I was willing to take a chance if he would just show me he actually had the items he was trying to sell not some stock photo from any number of websites

Re: lakewood control arms and tubular adjustable panhard bar
I'm just saying if you want some bunk pics of some new parts I will take them for you, 89 you are making our conversation in private sound way different then what you are saying on here, I told you I will get pics for you, but then you asked me to, take them off for you and I told you, that the car is my daily driver and I would take them off when I recieve payment cause umi is having an open house on saturday and I'm going to buy the brand new ones they have. So in other words if you would not like to buy them stop posting on here cause you're making my page look bad thanks again...

Re: lakewood control arms and tubular adjustable panhard bar
really
My request
Your response
That is the actual words you wrote after I asked for pictures because of you being a new member and you only wanted to be paid with a form that has no protection. I mena if you have 15 people waiting in line then take the things off and snap a picture of what you have, thats all I was asking for because no one wants the whole car so they have to be taken off to ship them. But thats ok, I hope your transaction goes smooth but as I said I am not willing to take the chance any longer. But please don't say I am twisting things around, I never asked U to take them off I just asked you to snap some pictures but I really wouldn't see any reason why taking them off would be a problem if you have all these people waiting in line to purchase them from you because they have to be taken off to ship them
My request
I need to know a good time to call. I don't know if I can get a MO there by Wednesday (since I don't know where you live) and really I am a little worried about sending one to a new member as yourself. Just give me a good time to call. I would also like to see some actual pictures of the items instead of a stock photo as you have posted since this is the internet and anyone can say they have something to get the money and not actually have it
sorry to say I'm not going to go through theatrics for 165.00 you can call me at anytime but has to be today I got 15 other people in line behind you, and parts are still on my car I'm not taking them off untill I get payment cause I still have to drive it I could jack it up and take some crappy pics that you wouldn't be able to see anyway

Paypal takes a solid 5 minutes to sign up for, and people would buy them off this board. But money orders are risky dude. And lots of people have gotten took, that's why they're so skeptic.

Re: lakewood control arms and tubular adjustable panhard bar
oh yeah have you ever been in a dispute with paypal, they are the worst people in the world on the sellers end, they tend to the buyers thats why I'm out of an 91 z28 with 46,000 miles and have no money on top of it.....

Re: lakewood control arms and tubular adjustable panhard bar
I wouldn't bother sending this guy a money order, or western union him jack. He will take your money and ignore your calls and emails. It's been over 2 weeks since I paid him 400.00 for a TPI setup he isn't mailing. He's quite the con man and I'm filing a small claims court suit against him.

Yep, I guess I'm a fool. We talked on the phone for a good hour and he seemed like an honest guy. I should of known better, but was thinking I finally found what I needed and rushed into it. I can guarantee it won't happen again. We even talked about my tours in IRAQ and his friend dying over there. It really p!sses me off that I spend my time fighting for pieces of S#$t like him to rip me off.

well man all I can say is I appreciate all of you guys and gals and all the sacrifices you all made to keep our country free (even if some people do take advantage of the freedom). I wish you well with your situation with this guy

Re: lakewood control arms and tubular adjustable panhard bar
Thanks. I have his address from public records and am looking at heading over there even if it costs me more than 400.00 to fly there from Oregon. I guess my next move is to contact the Riverdale Police and try to file a claim against him.

Re: lakewood control arms and tubular adjustable panhard bar
i was going to stay away from posting...
i know mitch, i have helped him via phone, and at his house with his IROC, in fact, he "bought" the motor i was selling on here, and now its in his iroc...
He didnt have the cash to buy the motor, but since i had met him previously out on the street/and at the track...i let him take my complete L98 motor, he gave me a nitrous works kit to hold on too as collateral, this was over a month ago easily...ive let it slide since he gave me some runners that i needed to get my car running again...
i havent spoken with him as of lately, ive tried calling him today, and get no answer...
i ended up giving up on trying to get my money from him, and just sold the kit he gave me to makeup for the loss, and i still fell way short.
sold motor+tpi+harness to him for 500, only got 300 from the nitrous kit...
Im not really upset with him, id like the difference from what i lost, but id like to think/hope in the end he makes it right..

I'm sure he will make it right with you. From what I've seen, he seems to have excellent people skills and manners.
J/K But seriously I hope he makes it right. I just wouldn't count on it.

Danialreed, I have a similar problem with another guy, I was wondering do you just go down to your local court house and file, even if the guy is out of state? How does that work, if you don't mind me asking? Thanks and I hope you put the screws to him, since I am a firm believer of what comes around goes around! Guys like this, make it bad for others! Keep us posted!

Mitch called me today. We'll see what happens when the stuff arrives. I'm sorry if I caused a rift, but it only takes a few seconds to let someone know what is going on.
