Head questions.
I was just wondering if anyone makes a hemi head for a SB. I know it's usually a mopar thing but the engineering behind them is very interesting to me. I've heard that you can get them but they are insanely expensive.
Also, I was wondering what would be the ideal heads to run on a 427 SB (possibly aluminum). Taking in anywhere from 1,500-2,000 cfm (FI) and possibly even more. Looking for something that will maintain good compression (between 10.1 - 11.1). No idea about exhaust yet. I know I'll be looking into custom headers for sure, maybe somewhere around 1 7/8" primaries.
I know AFRs are supposed to be very good heads. Just wondering if there's anything out there that's better and worth wild.

Also try Jim Fueling. I've seen that he has a bunch of wild cylinder head stuff up is sleeve, for big and small block in magazines before. 3 valves, 4 valves, SOHC, DOHC, etc. He might have something worth looking into.
