90 305
HI i have a 90 Camaro that recently got rearended but a lincoln navagator and i had a 305 tbi with 35, 000 miles on it I have recent ly found an 82 camaro with a blown engine and i was wondering what computer stuff needs to be saved from my camaro before i can do the swap. i do not have to worry about emissions on the car. If anyone can tell me what is the bare minimun componentsneeded to get the 305 tbi motor running that would be great .
Thanks alot to anyone that can help me. Thanks

It's easier to say what you won't need - A.I.R. system and cat.
Everything else feeds info to the computer which tells the TBI and ignition what to do.
If you don't have to worry about emissions, it makes more sense to part out your car and use the proceeds to buy a 350 and the supporting cast to make it run. Much cheaper, easier, and better results than all the work you'd have to do to get your TBI 305 into that older chassis.
I hope that '82 isn't a V6 car. If it is, then I'll modify my recommendations somewhat and say get the V8 mounting and supporting cast out of the '90 before you let it go. (Except I'd also say pass on the V6 car and get a factory V8-equipped car.)

:hail: Thanks
The 82 is a original V8 so the mounting and the supporting casts I won't need to change. Thanks for the advice i guess I will part out the car and start for the look for a 350. Thanks i just had hoped that i would have been able to use the motor because it is a cherry.
I HATE FORD SUVS.
