6-8 swap

I did a 6-8 swap in my 88 firebird. took out the 2.8L and put in a 5.7L. it was harder then i thought but possible. You have to move the motor mounts, the K member is drilled for it.the front springs will hold the 8 but it will sit low.my 88 had an electric speedo so that was not a problem.new exhaust y pipe or headers.then the computer. I went old school no computer, 1 wire distribitor. it about nickle and dimed me to death there is alot of work to do just plan it all out and try to get all the parts that you will need

The input shaft on your T5 is not going to have the correct spline count since it's coming from a V6 car. You really should sell it and buy one from a V8 car if you want to do the swap right.
