Hey looks great but please please please get rid of those exhaust manifolds. You are choking that motor with those. However, my geuss is that you already realize this but have $$ issuses and will get headers later when the car actually makes it on the road. All you guys with your LT1/LS1 swaps are making me jealous. I can only imagine what a full exhaust LT1 in a light 3rd gen would do. I know what it is like in my heavy *** 4th gen and it freakin hauls. Good work lt1g3n. Be sure to post finished pics

Well you are in luck because any header that will fit a 3rd gen will work with that motor. Even though it is a gen II small block it is the same shape and size with the same mounting locations. Just buy headers like you had your 305 in there the only thing is that you might want to get some headers for your D shaped heads.

I would get a coated set of SLP 1 3/4" They will make that LT1 scream in your car.

If you want a header that will actually seal and wont have the collector flanges get warped and bent out of shape, do NOT get Heddman headers. The price looks very appealing, but they suck. I wish I would have gotten coated SLP's or something.
