1982 Firebird Engine Clearance
my friend lowered his finished off engine into his '82 firebird and well the hood wouldnt shut...
the engine is a 78 vette 350 with edelbrock performer intake and 650 carb and low profile air filter...is the performer intake too tall for this cars hood clearance? whut should he go with?

Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: 307
Low profile wont clear, he needs a 14X3 dropbase with the plastic adaptor ring if its a single feed carb or no plastic ring if its a dual feed.
