Canton pan and Solid motor mounts

So i just installed a Canton oil pan and put solid motor mounts in. Now the pan was hitting the center link on the one side so idecided to put 2 washers on the block side of the mount to lift it off the center link instead of trying to dent the pan. Then i had to elongate the bolt holes. But it was a bitch to line the motor up and i just dont feel comfortabe doing that. I prefure to do somthing to the centerlink , would it be cool if i grinded down the area where it hits??? it just hits a scosh bit, i have the feeling that im going to pick up the motor and drop the center link and use a piece of pipe to dimple/dent the pan. What doyou guys thinki should do????

dent the pan, considering the motor will rock back and forth, not to mention grinding the centerlink isn't really a good idea, i'd want 1/4" clearance if not more between the centerlink and the pan just to be safe. motor will still twist a little regardless of the solid motor mounts, mine moves a bit under heavy throttle.

so i ended up denting the pan a lil bit and then took out the washeres that i used to shim it up, now there is a gap between the centerlink and the pan, oh and i waited like a tank of gas looking for a 20x1.5 plug to put in the canton pan, you can buy one from advanced auto for like $2.14, and this is after going to industrial supplie places that carry EVERYTHING!! well i guess not everything, i guess sometimes you just need to go back to basics
