Engine swap in progress... (with a pic or two)
Well, the old, boring motor and Th200c are finally coming out. Going in is a 250 HO with turbo 350 from a late 70s Chevy pickup that was my uncles, which was involved in a head on..
My engine and tranny are still in, the new engine/tranny is out and getting ready for accessories.. Here's a pic...
Lookin forward to this toy, trying to get it done fast for summer cruising..

Looking good. You have the 9" tailshaft TH350, which is a good thing so your driveshaft will work. I assume you have plans for the torque arm mount.

The nice part about pulling an engine from a totallyed truck? If a part won't come loose? cut it... Panel gets in the way? Cut it. You scratch the paint? Put a dent in it to cover it up..

Now I gotta order the torque arm.. 400 for some metal..

But then again, that's pretty much what these cars are too, so...

Hey I'm doing a 3.1 V-6 to 305 TPI (mock up till Dart 410cid is finished) and I was wondering where can I get a complete V-8 underhood wiring harness, I want to retain the speed density system already in the car (saves repinning ECM) and help you may have would be well.. helpful

I'm not sure myself.. I"m essentially getting rid of all the electronics. No smog testing or requirements where I live, so it's a non issue.. essentially, I'm getting an MSD ignition box (6A), distributer, and coil.. Apart from that, there will be essentially no computers that I know of.. Just a carb'd 350...
I'd make a new post about it, you'll get more specific attention about your question.
