swapping motors (electrical)
swapping motors (electrical)
Ok so i bought a 1988 iroc z shell from a friend. it is set up for a tpi motor and i already dropped a carb 350 in it. is there a wire harness or an easier way to hook it up so it will run and my guages will be accurate?

you can just buy sending units to fit that year car and they should work on the 350 just fine. i don't know of an easy button fix though.

The gauges don't run off the ECM; you should be able to use the stock sending units for a TPI V8. You still need the fat Pink wire that goes to your coil harness. That wire will go to your HEI BAT terminal.
You need to find your start wire and you'll be set. It's usually purple.
