fuel lines

so I got looking at the fuel lines I am going to run (off a carbd setup), and the hard lines have been cut toward the motor end of them. since I will be running my EFI pump with a 3 port regulator Im concerned about the pressure leaking past a cut steel line with only a hose clamp holding the rubber line. I was wondering if I can just flare the end of the hard line for some extra security and be okay with a hose clamped rubber line? I really dont wanna buy another set of lines.any ideas??????

Re: fuel lines

if you use the proper hose and clamps it wont be an issue to leave it alone. If you flare the tubing, it will create an edge that will eventually cut through the hose and blow.
