'89 TPI Unit

Monday I am going to go remove an 89 tpi unit from a wrecked IROC. I was wondering what tools I will need to bring along with me so I don't have any surprises when I am removing it. Also, what other tpi parts will I need to remove from the car to make the swap from tbi to tpi besides the intank fuel pump, ecm, wiring harness, intake manifold, plenum, runners, injectors and throttle cable. Will I need to get the wiring harness that is in the dash as well so that my gauges will work? Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Grab absolutely everything they'll let you take. The little stuff will nickle and dime you to death later if you don't. Remember to take some Torx wrenches, too, in case you decide you can't take it all off in one piece.

I've heard that you'll need the fuel lines too--wouldn't hurt tho. Good luck!

if your car is a 1990 or later you may not need the fuel lines.after 90 GM went with a 3/8's fuel line on all of the fuel injected f-body's.tune post and throddle body
