swapped motors, problems with speedometer
i swapped my 305 tpi for a 350 4bbl in my 86 T/A. i ripped the computer and wire harness from it with the old motor and realize the speedometer is run through that ecm from the transmission. anybody ever had to put in an aftermarket speedometer on one of these? or is there a bypass harness i maybe able to come across? help please

Re: swapped motors, problems with speedometer
I'd look up the pinouts for the C100 in your car. My 1989 Tpi car had both the VSS wires routed straight to the C100 and into the dash to the gauge.
Re: swapped motors, problems with speedometer
more or less what im asking, i found the wires in the harness. is there a way to skip the computer and wire straight from the tranny to the speedometer?
