305 to 350TPI, what do I need to do??

I have a 91 GTA with the factory 305 and T5. The car has 400+kms and the motor has already been rebuilt once who knows how long ago - anyways now I think I've blown a head gasket. I have nowhere near enough experience to be able to install an LT1 or an LS and properly wire everything and set the computer, but I would like to purchase a TPI 350 and add some upgrades before it goes in the car. Can someone guide me in the right direction? Also, if anyone in Ontario has a good 350 or even another 305 but from a 5 speed gta then let me know!

First get a new pair of Felpro 8510PT head gaskets and replace them to get the car running, then start hunting a '96-up Vortec 350. Scoggin-Dickey offers the TPI base for those heads, if you decide to keep the TPI.
