Car: 86 IROCZ, 2012 Impala LT
Engine: 383 stroker 4 barrel
Transmission: 700r stage 2 stift with 2800 stall
Axle/Gears: 373 posi yukon sure grip
starter hi torque
i have a 86 IROC with a 305 swapped to a 383 stroker with 168 tooth flex plate, my starter is a high torque and shot problem is which GM starter do I get, My block is a 86 1 piece rear seal any recommend which starter to get trying to get it running tonight show and shine tomorrow nite

Did the old engine use the same flywheel ? Diameter and amount of teeth ?

This one is large case, high torque, with a staggered bolt pattern. Don't know how many teeth on pinion.
