Norwegian daily driver Trans Am 84/87
Hello there and thanks for what seems to be heaven when it comes to third gen's! I bought my firebird trans am this winter and its been sitting outside my house until last monday when I got my trans back from overhauling. Now Im on the road running and working to optimize my GM sporscar experience.
Its been blessed with new upholstry, and seems to be in OK techincal shape.
I plan to:
- Lower it with proper springs and dampers
- Tune and optimize the engine
- Fix most of the annoying noises and imperfections in the looks
- Repair the hatch pull-down
- Repair the cruise control
- Build a stereo with a moderate sub
- Get wheels that are a good combination of handling and comfort and looks!
- Tint the windows
- Build a good exhaust with headers
- Fix the hinges for the side-doors
- Replace the tail-lights with used ones that have the right colour still
- Have a good time and try to keep it rust free in salty Norway

That's an excellent looking thirdgen
From these pictures I didn't see too many imperfections, but if you say they're there, I'll take your word for it.
I guess in Norway it'll be about as difficult to get smaller licence plates on the car? I see a small one in the back, but a regular plate in the front.

Thank you for those nice comments!
The small lisence-plates are banned here, but I intend on getting a fake one anyway :P Its just a wee bit down on the list of priorities...

Can you post some more pictures of the interior please? I'm currious to see how the red/black seats looks with the grey interior.
Thanks,
Thanks,
