I'm surprised they even offered to sell you one.
Go price a custom-built, mandrel-bent, 2-1/2" down pipes to 3" at the cat y-pipe by an exhaust shop, you might become a Holley fan again...

Sounds like he's only going to replace the smashed portion, not build an entire new y-pipe. If you're okay with that, then go with it.

started taking the smashed Y off and the headers, 1 header is still good. Need to see the other one tomorrow. They want $130 + shipping $20 for a new Y. Bad thing is it takes 3-4 weeks to come in so I have to put the stock stuff back untill/if I get the new Y

Mine lasted a month before it was smashed to no use. I ended up putting true duals on it that has ground cleaqrance as good as the OEM exhuast.

Mufflex charged me $320 for my custom y-pipe. Granted it was all 2.5 inch mandrel bent stainless steel. Plus they made it to flow better than a normal y-pipe, so they said. The only reason i had them do it because i was desperate. Edelbrock had the y pipe on backorder for like 2 months and they still never got it to me.
