ok, I wanna get some long tube headers, but they all say that they won't clear the stock floor pan.... where exactly? do they just mean that I won't be able to run a y-pipe that can cross before the tranny?? I don't really care about emissions to be honest, I just want to run long tube headers to some sort of glass packs and then have them exit out the side behind the doors.... is that possible?

Here's what I did on my '87 IROC w/ Hooker SC LTs and Mufflex y-pipe into a Dynomax bullet muffler for the street. I race w/o the muffler...........
