hows this setup sound?
ok, please keep in mind im no expert here, so if i say something stupid...dont laugh
. anyway, im working on my camaro....itll probably end up with around 400 horsepower. its my daily driver that id race at the strip when i got a chance. it isnt running yet, but it will
. anyway to the exhaust...im planning on getting headers that cost around $100 or $150. i wont be using true dual exhaust for ground clearance reasons. im not goin to use a cat either....its kansas, nobody cares
. anyway, i can get this one catback setup from this one guy (but im removing the cat as i said before), and it has one 3" pipe that goes into a hi-flow muffler (brand..dont know), and then 2 tailpipes that exit at the rear (probably 2.5", but im just guessing...id have to ask the guy again...could remain at 3" or somewhere in between, i dont know). just to clarify thats 1 muffler and 2 tailpipes. he said its loud, which is kinda good and bad. im not really looking for something thats loud because i dont want cops all over me, but still might sound nice
. it is used, but still in good condition...and i dont have an exact price, but lets just say itd be cheap. my question is, would this have good performance and everything....or should i spend more money on something else? if i went with something else, what would your suggestions be...3.5" single, 4" single?

that would probably be alright. BUT i would call all the muffler shops in your area to see if they will bend you 3.5" or 4" pipe. if they do get a larger muffler from summit or something and have them to a large catback. if you get headers with a ypipe have them cutoff the single 2.5" or 3" pipe on the ypipe and bend some 3.5" or 4" for that too. nobody here could bend pipe bigger then 3" or i would have gotten a 4" exhaust
