Fitment problem with Headman Headers?

I just finished installing a pair of Headman shorty headers on my 90 Iroc and noticed that the header on the driver's side comes extremely close to the front crossmember. Is this normal with Headman headers, or did I recieve the wrong part? Also please note that the engine and tranny mounts are still in good condition if it makes a difference.

Picture of the driver's side header and its closeness to the front crossmember.

ya mine are like that, but maybe not that close, i just stared it up to see if hit but didn't, so see if it hits when the engine's running.

Same for mine. Once everything was all adjusted and bolted in though, they don't move hardly at all.

You could try new motor mounts.
I had the same problem and I shaved a bit off the frame and the collector.

A new set of motor mounts can cure most fitment issues associated with shorty hedders tailored to our cars.
