Center inlet/outlet vs offset inlet/outlet (Hooker Areo Chamber, also other)
I'm trying to make exhaust more quiet. At the moment I have Heddman headers, Y-pipe, 3" piping and single 3" (single center inlet/outlet) Hooker Aero Chanber. It's too loud with my 224/230 cam.
I decided to put another 3" single inlet/outlet muffler in place where catalytic converter was. What do you think, will it make exhaust much more quiet? Which muffler do you recommend?
I'm thinking about another 3" single inlet/outlet Hooker Aero Chamber. Is there any difference in flow and in noise between center inlet/outlet muffler and offset inlet center outlet muffler?
