Axle/Gears: Not Sure, 3.73?
Cat-Converter???
Hey..was just wondering...does your car need a cat-converter to pass a motor vehicle inspection in Newfoundland, Canada?

If I was you I wouldn't bother removing it if thats what your thinking about doing. Just get a high flow there cheap and you wont notice a difference in power.

I agree with crrllmich..........I have thrush cats here in Ontario and I pass the sniffer and there is no loss of power. There are lots of low restriction aftermarket and original GM ones that will work. See if the boneyards have any from a late model vette for starters.

Alright well my father alredy cut the old one out cause it was rotted out...so i have no cat at all...as for one of thoes high flow cats...how much would i pay for one?...also how much do you think it would cost to get it put up?...would i be able to special order one from canadian tire in the special parts order?..thanks

You would have to check with your parts store and muffler shop for pricing. I believe cdn. tire can help just go in and tell them what you want and price out installation as well.
